Last week we brought Will to the mall for his 1st visit with Santa and I just LOVED seeing him there, sitting on the big guys lap. He was so mesmerized with him. I'm sure in years to come he'll be afraid and not take as cute of a picture, but I can't wait to bring him to see Santa for the next 10 years!</span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:georgia;"></span></div><br /><div><span style="font-family:georgia;">As far as Christmas as an adult goes, I've been pretty underwhelmed until now. It's just so much more magical as a child. Everything seemed more special and magical when I was little. Anyways, my griping behind, I think I know now how to truely enjoy Christmas as an adult- see it through a childs eyes! I LOVE spending this time with Will and I'm sure it'll only get better the older he gets. I can't wait to see him with the presents and the bows (let's face it, the wrapping will be MUCH better than the gifts this year, but still) . And I'm sure I'll be naughty and slip him some holiday cookies and pie! I am writing from work tonight. I got here at 3 pm and I don't get to go to my happy place (aka my bed at home) until 7:30 am. Why you ask? Because when our needs list came out at work a month ago, my bank account was making my decisions for me, specifically, the Christmas budget portion of my bank account. I know we'll probably go a little over board on our little boy's 1st Christmas, not to mention all of the other new babies' 1st Christmas' this year. So, suffice it to say, double time and weekend bonus was calling me name. Of course, now that I'm here, and have been here for 10 1/2 hours and still have 6 to go, my bank account doesn't seem that important to me! The new needs list came out today and I am NOT signing up for any more doubles!!!<br />You know what I hate more than being at work for 16 hours? It's not seeing Will for SOO long. John had him to himself all day. 1st they went to watch the vikings game (if you can call that pathetic thing a game) at Brandon's house, then they got to go watch the Wild game at Mark's. Talk about a fun boy's day!! I'll just have to wake him up and cuddle with him awhile when I get home!<br />Well, My eyes are starting to go blurry, so I better quit typing. You all have a good Monday.
